Good article. Christianity awakened & challenged my intellect. I was amazed at how unexamined my life & beliefs were as a non-Christian. But our cultural narrative is that you stop thinking when you accept someone else’s teachings or become religious. To this day the Lord exposes unexamined ways of thinking in my life. Everything is unexamined until it comes into the light of His word. His word is living & active. It penetrates to the dividing of soul & spirit, joints & marrow. It judges the thoughts & attitudes of the heart (Heb. 4:12).
